Everything you need to know about Mauqe

A complete guide to generating, editing, and publishing AI-built websites — from your first prompt to your published domain.

Getting Started

Mauqe is an AI web generation platform that builds production-ready websites from a single input. You don't need to write code, design, or copy — describe your business and the AI handles the rest.

  1. Sign in with Google from the Dashboard.
  2. Click Generate and pick a source: Google Maps, Instagram, or a text prompt.
  3. Choose a business type and visual style.
  4. The AI generates a full website in about 20–40 seconds.
  5. Open the editor to refine content, then publish to a public slug.

New accounts start with free credits — enough to generate your first site and try the editor.

Generation Sources

Mauqe supports three input sources. Each gives the AI a different starting point:

Google Maps

Pulls business name, category, address, hours, photos, and reviews from a Maps URL or business name + city.

Instagram

Imports the bio, recent feed style, and brand identity from a public Instagram handle.

From Scratch

Describe your business in plain language. The AI invents a coherent brand, copy, and structure.

Tip: The more specific your input, the better the output. For Google Maps, use the full share URL. For Instagram, use a public account. For prompts, mention tone, audience, and what makes you unique.

Styles & Templates

After choosing a source, you pick a business type (restaurant, agency, portfolio, salon, etc.) and a visual style:

  • Modern — clean minimalism with bold type.
  • Luxury — cream tones, gold accents, editorial serif.
  • Minimal — pure whitespace, restrained palette.
  • Bold — high contrast, heavy typography.
  • Playful — vibrant colors, friendly shapes.
  • Custom — pick your own background, primary, accent, and text colors.

The visual style controls colors, fonts, spacing, and section treatments. The business type biases the AI toward sections relevant to that industry.

The Editor

Every generated site opens in a live editor. Click anything on the page to select it, then use the side panel to:

  • Edit text inline.
  • Adjust colors, fonts, spacing, and layout from the Style Panel.
  • Replace images by URL or upload.
  • Edit the raw HTML of the selected element only (heavily sanitized for safety).
  • Use the AI assistant to rewrite, translate, or restructure sections.
  • See live structure with the Element Tree.

A toolbar at the top shows your credits balance, publish status, and version history. All edits autosave.

Site Sections

Mauqe sites are composed of editable slots — modular sections backed by structured data:

Menu

For restaurants and cafés — categories, items, prices, photos.

Gallery

Image grids with captions and alt text.

Testimonials

Customer quotes with names, roles, and ratings.

Hours

Per-day open/close times with closed-day handling.

Contact

Phone, email, address, social links, and a map embed.

Blog

Per-site blog posts with cover images and slugs.

Each section has a dedicated editor in the side panel. Reorder, hide, or remove items at any time.

Publishing

When you're happy with your site, hit Publish. You'll be asked to choose a slug — your site goes live at:

https://mauqe.com/s/your-slug
  • Publishing costs 10 credits the first time.
  • Re-publishing updates is free.
  • You can unpublish at any time from the dashboard.
  • Each published site gets a QR code for sharing.
  • Sites are SEO-ready with meta tags, Open Graph, and sitemap inclusion.

Credits & Pricing

Mauqe uses a credit system. Credits are consumed for AI work — generating, regenerating, and publishing.

  • Generate a site: 1 credit
  • Regenerate / major AI edit: 1 credit
  • Publish a site: 10 credits (first publish only)
  • Free tier: Every new account gets starter credits.

Buy more credits anytime on the Credits page. Packs scale from Starter to Scale, with better per-credit pricing on larger packs. Payments are processed securely via PayPal.

You can also access the credits page directly from the editor toolbar.

Promo Codes

Have a discount code? Enter it on the Credits page before completing your purchase. Valid codes apply a percentage off the pack price, shown in real time before checkout.

Each code has its own expiry date and usage limits set by the Mauqe team.

Languages

Mauqe is fully bilingual: English and Arabic, with proper RTL layout for Arabic. Switch languages from the navbar — your preference is remembered across sessions.

Generated websites can be in either language. The AI writes natively in your chosen language, not via translation — so Arabic sites read like they were written by a native speaker, not machine-translated.

Account & Authentication

Sign in with Google — no passwords to manage. Your profile stores your name, avatar, and credit balance.

  • All sites you create are private until you publish them.
  • Only you can edit your sites.
  • Your data is protected by row-level security at the database layer.
  • You can sign out from the dashboard at any time.

Blog System

Every generated site can have its own blog. Add posts from the editor's blog panel — title, cover image, excerpt, and rich content. Each post gets its own URL under your site slug and is automatically indexed in your sitemap.

Mauqe also has a platform blog with tutorials, AI tips, and product updates.

Version History

Every meaningful change to your site is saved as a version. Open Version History from the editor to preview any past state and restore it with one click. You'll never lose work to an experimental edit.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Start specific. "Modern Italian bistro in Brooklyn focused on handmade pasta" beats "restaurant".
  • Pick the right style early. Switching visual styles after editing may overwrite custom tweaks.
  • Use real photos. Replace stock images with your own as soon as you can — it's the single biggest quality jump.
  • Edit in small steps. Save and preview between changes; the AI assistant works best with focused requests.
  • Publish early, iterate. Re-publishing is free, so ship a v1 and refine live.
  • Mind your slug. Choose carefully — the slug is part of your public URL.
